If water is
to be purified such that it can be used for drinking purposes or for other
uses, then a water filter system will be very useful. As far as the
quantity of water to be purified is small, using a normal filter system will
serve the purpose. For example, if the purification is to be done in a small
residence, then a normal water filter system will be sufficient. Take
for instance, a home with a family of four members. If they require to purify
water, then they will opt for a simple water filter system. This will
solve their problem of water purification.
However, if
the amount of water to be purified is large, then a commercial water filter
system will be required. A question may arise as to “What is a commercialwater filter system?” The answer to this question is given in this blog.
The author has also tried to throw light on how the size of the commercial
water filter system can be decided. A commercial water filter system is a
contraption that is used for removing water contaminants on a large scale in
locations such as large residences(area more than 4000 sq.ft.), large
businesses, manufacturing facilities, retail establishments or such other
locations.
Now the
question that needs to be answered is how one knows whether he needs a
commercial water filter system or a normal water filter system will do. If the
amount of water to be purified is more than 12 or more gallons per minute, or
if the diameter of the incoming water line is 1.5 inches or more, then a
commercial water filter system may be required. Where the purity of water
required is high, then one may need an industrial water purification system.
This is one step ahead of a commercial purification system. Thus, we see that
the amount and speed of the water to be purified decides
the nature of filtration system.
There are
also special filtration systems that rid the water of special contaminants like
some chemicals. For example, if one needs to remove say arsenic, fluoride,
tannins from the water, then he will require a specific water filtration
system. In some other establishments, one may even need an industrial water
filtration system as elaborated in the above paragraph.
